Hurn Court Opera

This exciting new company, which showcases some of the finest young singers in the country, was the brainchild of Lynton and his wife Joy in 2017. With Hurn Court Opera he directed Handel's Acis and Galatea from the harpsichord and conducted Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Bach's Kaffekantate and Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, all staged by Joy Robinson.

Courses

In 2011 Lynton founded and continues to direct the flourishing Wessex Solo Singers Courses which help singers to develop technical and presentational skills through frequent performance practice. So far there have been 25 courses, each attracting up to 60 singers and high-calibre staff. As a result of their success Lynton was invited to be Musical Director of the prestigious Cratoule summer singing course in France in 2017 and 2018.
